It’s Time for the 2010 H.A.R. EXPO....Be There!
It’s October and that means it’s time for our H.A.R. Expo! This year the Expo is scheduled for Wednesday, October 13th from 4pm-8pm at the Reliant Center. Our October issue is always the “EXPO Issue”.
Rochelle Barrow, this year’s EXPO Chair and her committee (along with the H.A.R. Staff) have worked extremely hard to put together a most amazing event that you do not want to miss!
As is our tradition at Premier Agent Magazine, we break from our format of honoring a top producer (nominated by the 31member Publishers Advisory Board) and dedicate our cover and cover story to our current H.A.R. Chairperson. Following that tradition, we are proud to shine the spotlight on Margie Dorrance of Keller Williams Metropolitan and our 2010 H.A.R. Chair. Margie is also a member of that Publishers Advisory Board and was the February 2007 REE cover honoree Margie is the second of (what I have been calling) our “Double Agents” (those agents who have graced both magazine covers and who will be on Champions School of Real Estate for a second time!
In our “Company Profile”, we are very pleased to shine the spotlight on Mr. Brett Bogus and Texas Commemorative (TexasCommem.com). Brett is the founder of Texas Commemorative. His office is covered in memorabilia, coins, notes and currency from the Republic of Texas.
Brett believes that the state of Texas is full of history that is worth seeing and worth having. He likes to remind his clients that a person can’t own original works from Jefferson or Washington easily, but Texans have more than ample opportunity to obtain true artifacts from the Republic. His enthusiasm is infectious as he produces an original note from the Republic of Texas, signed by the legendary Sam Houston.
His idea for Texas Commemorative started in the ‘90s, when he was selling US Mint produced Texas half-dollars and people’s pride in investing in them was palpable. Texans are unique for investing in assets that are liquid, like cattle, oil, and gold; all worth passing on to their children. Texas Commemorative gives people the opportunity to invest in the Lone Star State.
I think that items from Texas Commemorative would make incredible closing and holiday gifts with long lasting value and rememberance and a smart investment for you.
Make sure you stop by Brett’s booth at the Expo and say “Hello”. He will be in Booth #101.
