July is "Affiliate Appreciation Month!"
If July is not “Affiliate Appreciation Month,” I am declaring it so (or at least for this issue of our magazine).
I am pretty sure that if I asked you what the month of July brings to mind, your thoughts would be more of Independence Day, picnics, and summer vacations with the family. I think that July should “officially” be known (from this point forward) as “Affiliate Appreciation Month!”
You know the folks that I am talking about here. They are the title companies, real estate schools, mortgage companies, home warranty companies, inspectors, appraisers, credit repair companies, home builders, developers, etc. who support the meetings, events, and the organizations that you, the Realtor® participate in.
Besides helping make the transaction happen for your buyer or seller, they are there to make you look good in front of your client to help ensure the testimonial and/or referral you receive. That is what it is all about.
We at Premier Agent Magazine have an excellent way for you to show your appreciation for the affiliates in your business that you are most appreciative of. You can show your appreciation with a nomination for them to be honored in the next issue (Fall 2011) of “PROFILES” Magazine.
Your favorite affiliate’s “Profile” in Premier Agent Magazine (like the one on the right of this page) and/ or in “PROFILES” Magazine (due in September) tells the story behind the company. The story shares with the reader who they are, why they are different, and (more importantly) why you should consider giving them the opportunity to do business with you.
You can scan the QR code at the top of this page for the form to nominate your favorite affiliate(s) for this honor.
In this month’s issue of Premier Agent Magazine, we share three stories of people and companies that you need to know. They are Clay Bohannan of Encompass Lending Group on page 5, AMCAP Mortgage on page 14, and Home Team of America on page 15. Please read their stories and use your iPhone, Smart Phone, or Droid Phone to scan their QR codes to learn more about these incredible companies. Please keep in mind that you can nominate more than one of your affiliates. You don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, right?
Our cover story this month is Ms. Liza Garza, who is a “dynamo” agent with Home Team of America. She has a great “can do” attitude, more energy than most people I know, and a huge loving, caring heart. Liza is a past “Realtor® of the Year” for N.A.H.R.E.P. Houston and is this year’s Membership Chair for the Association.
Barbara and I have enjoyed getting to know Liza and are proud to have her as this month’s cover honoree!
It is time to let you enjoy her story as well as the three companies that we are profiling this month.
