February is Such a Great Month!
I guess one could make such a claim for any month of the year, that it is “great” for one reason or another. But, outside of the fact that my birthday falls on the 1st of the month, we celebrate the anniversary of The Constitution, 2 famous U.S. President’s birthday’s, Valentines Day (Does any one know where you can get a great deal on roses?) and a host of other special days, February is just a great month! There is something for everyone to celebrate!
For this month’s cover honoree, Veronica Mullenix, February will always represent a milestone in her real estate practice. It is this month, February 2011 that she celebrates independence and her 2nd anniversary of having started her own real estate practice.
In February of 2009, when the nation was in the depths of a recession and the repercussions were being felt in the Houston area, Veronica Mullenix decided it was the right time in her life to venture out independently and launch her own real estate firm. Regardless of the fact that the Katy area market was very competitive and saturated with great agents and top producers, Veronica felt Katy was the right place to base her business, too. This was the time to pursue her dream and she wasn’t going to wait for all of the planets to be in alignment, she would just have to align them herself! So began on February 27 2009, Veronica Mullenix Real Estate Group, LLC.
It was just the month before that Veronica was our cover honoree for the January 2009 issue. You will enjoy her updated story.
February will be a special month for us at Legacy Publishing Group as we start marketing the Kansas City, Mo edition of Premier Agent Magazine which will make it’s debut in March. We have a terrific team there in Kansas City. They are my friends Britt & Brett Miller. That’s right, “Britt” and “Brett”! They are one “Powerful” sales & marketing team! Britt, Brett and I worked for another company and shared top producer honors. More news about our Kansas City Launch as it happens.
One other bit of “news” before I give you the chance to enjoy this month’s issue, Premier Agent Magazine has been named “Media Sponsor” of The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (N.A.H.R.E.P.) Houston Chapter. The leadership and the members are the finest you will find anywhere in the real estate industry. We are very, very proud to be part of their organization this year!
