The Search is On...
The most amazing thing about Houston is just how many newly licensed agents come out of real estate schools (like Champions School of Real Estate) and join the ranks of Houston’s real estate community every month. I wonder if there is any other city in the U.S. that can boast so many new real estate agents joining an industry of over 24,000 other real estate professionals.
Most real estate offices are trying to recruit their “fair share” of these new agents in hopes of finding the next real estate “super star.” The challenge is that no one really knows just who is going to work out and who will not. You can give a new agent the best training, the latest tools, and motivation galore yet there is just no telling who will take it all and (as they say) “run with it!”
My 100 plus interviews of Houston’s top real estate producers who have graced the cover of REE and Premier Agent Magazines have been these “rising stars”. They took the training, motivation, and tools given them and combined it with the right attitude and strong work ethic and set their goals to succeed no matter what.
With this in mind, Premier Agent Magazine is searching for Houston’s 25 hottest “rising stars” to honor on the cover of the magazine (and inside with their own full page profile) of a very special annual publication that we have named “Premier Agent Magazine’s “Rising Stars (2010)”. You may have already heard about it or seen a mock up cover on our Facebook Fan Page. Please see our promotional ad on the adjoining page for more information on how you can nominate a “rising star” for consideration.
This month, we honor Marion Franke of The Marion Franke Team who we had the pleasure of working with on the November 2006 cover of REE. Marion was a “rising star” despite the odds against it and is now one of the most recognizable real estate professionals in all of Montgomery County.
Marion’s success is not just due to her strong work ethic and the talented team that she has gathered around her. A great deal of her success is really a result of the care she gives her clients, always treating them like they’re an extension of her own family and placing their needs first. She truly understands the importance of relationships with people and doing the right thing. “In order to succeed in this business,” Marion concludes, “you must know that you have to enjoy and respect people first and foremost. Work where you can find encouragement, heart, and support. Go to an office where you can find passion for life and family and that is where you will find success in business.” I know you will enjoy her story!
We also shine the spotlight in this issue on two of Marion’s favorite affiliates, Supreme Lending Grandmark Group and Texas Homeland Title (formerly known as InHouse Title). Once you read the story about each of these two terrific companies you will want to give them a try. Please make sure that you tell them that you saw their story in Premier Agent Magazine.
